What you'll get

‘Escape to Sardinia’ at Sardus Vinoteca

Introducing the Confidentials Supper Club – our pick of the most exciting food in the city, brought to you in one-off, intimate events created especially for our readers.

Social, informative, and unpretentious, they’re a chance to enjoy fantastic food and wine in a relaxed atmosphere with a nice bunch of people.

First up…a new, independent restaurant off Deansgate that’s wowed our food critics and wine writers alike:

7pm, Thursday 16 May

Discover an ancient cuisine little seen in the UK – with paired drinks from ‘the finest Sardinian wine list in the country’.

Sardus Vinoteca is the first restaurant to bring Sardinian food to Manchester city centre. And we’re wondering why it’s taken so long.

Sardinia’s distinctive cuisine is rooted in the mountains, farms and woods of this Mediterranean island. Add influences from mainland Italy and the melting pot of cultures in its coastal trade ports, and you have a style of cooking that’s both comfortably familiar and eye-openingly different. It’s a real joy to explore.
